Wildflower Update No 2. from Dowerin

Lynley Arnott from the Dowerin Visitor Centre was out exploring on the weekend and has provided the following quick update and some photos she has captured on some areas for visitors to explore around the Dowerin region in the Wheatbelt Way.

“It’s just the start of our season, and many of the plants are budded up – the next month or so should be a really good time to get out of the car and head into the bush.

At Nanning Well/Namelkatchem Reserve at intersection of Goldfields Rd & Cunderdin/Minnivale Rd. Naaning Well has parking area, and there are two pull in bays as well.

Not many of these are seen on the roadside, so while the weather is kind and the bush still safe to explore…  Now is the time to do it!”
